Fractionated Coconut Oil

Our Fractionated Coconut Oil comes from regular coconut oil, but mainly consists of the medium-chain fatty acids caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). Fractionated coconut oil can stay in liquid form because it contains no lauric acid. Thus, the oil does not offer the many health benefits of lauric acid. However, it still contains a host of benefits, including *increased collagen production, skin barrier nourishment, and protection from UV rays.

Because Fractionated Coconut Oil has fewer fatty acids than your standard coconut oil, it's easier to mix into other essential oil blends. It is also said to be great for hydration, be it for the skin or the hair. Apply as is onto the skin, or mix in with essential oils to provide a moisturizing base.
